To gather with a chisel, pruner or trowel, equip the tool, approach a compatible target and use the interaction prompt. You do not need to hold the tool; the developer’s PC example uses E.
Use an equipped gathering tool
- Equip the tool your target requires. Keeping it in your inventory is not the same as equipping it.
- Approach a compatible target and look for its interaction prompt.
- Use the displayed interaction button. The developer gives E as the PC example; use your own on-screen prompt if it differs.

If the tool still does nothing
- Check that the tool is equipped.
- Try a target that requires that tool. A different plant or rock may need a different interaction.
- If no interaction works, note your game version, target and equipped tool before reporting the problem.
Playing the demo?
The trial ends after two hours or at its story milestone, whichever comes first. Reaching the milestone can end your session early. A developer says older saves need a new game to use the increased two-hour limit. Check demo limits and save information before restarting.
