How to use the field surveys
The surveys tell you which kinds of habitats to look for. They do not provide exact coordinates, a complete map or guaranteed spawn points. Use recognizable landmarks and the in-game map to turn a habitat clue into your own route.
Before heading farther out
- Check supplies and your current survival status.
- Match your equipment to the current objective.
- Read the wildlife notes for your destination.
- Keep track of the way back to shelter.
